My course is an antenatal education, hypnobirthing and emotional wellbeing programme that prepares you for the demands of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.

I know that there is nothing simple about the demands of pregnancy, birth and parenthood or the fears or anxieties you feel.  However being informed and educated about all of your birthing options not matter what type of birth you wish, want, plan or need to have, means that you can approach your birth in a calm and confident way, free of FEAR! It really is that simple!

The Mind, Body & Soul Hypnobirthing Programme is designed to support you on your individual birthing journey no matter what type of birth you want, wish, plan or need to have.  This programme specialises in dealing with fear and anxiety so there is a strong focus on reducing fear and building confidence. It will inform you of all of your birthing options in an open, honest and non-judgemental way, so that you can make the right decisions for you, both during your pregnancy and in birth.

Available as a group, private 1-1 or a home study online course

Course Content Includes:

Session 1 “The Mind” - This week is all about knowing your birth rights, understanding what hypnobirthing is, an overview of hypnosis, trusting your instincts, mind over matter, where our fears about birth originate from on a personal, national and international scale and how to manage those fears to create a better expectancy about birth. After this class you will begin your journey of letting go of your fears and build confidence in birth.

Session 2 “The Body” - This week is all about understanding your body from head to toe, how tuning into your body will enable you to interpret your body’s signals (previously known as pain!) effectively and calmly. We will discuss the impact of being active in birth, your hormones, life giving pain, signs and stages of labour, pregnancy exercises for easier birth and physically preparing for labour. After this class you will have the confidence to listen to your instincts and trust your body and baby.

Session 3 “The Soul” - This week is all about planning, after all a goal without a plan is just a wish! We will look at birth plans, the birth partners role and post-natal plans. We will also take a look at the “Golden Hour” after birth and how important that initial hour after birth, and beyond, is so vital to both mother and baby’s journey and bonding. After this class you will not just wish for a great birth, but be prepared for one!

Session 4 “The Hypnobirthing” - The final class of the course is where you then learn all the breathing techniques for labour and birth, and we will discuss in depth how breathing effects your body. We will look at topics such as the simple act of breathing, breathing and relaxation and breathing and birth. After this final class you will be fully prepared for whatever type of birth you have and be working towards your very own positive birth experience with your home practice!

This FREE one-hour hypnobirthing taster session includes the following:

  • A group chat about your current experiences, fears or concerns about pregnancy, birth and parenthood

  • A detailed overview about what the 4-week programme covers

  • How to deal with fears and anxieties about labour and birth

  • Some simple techniques taught to manage your thoughts regarding childbirth

  • A pregnancy relaxation session

Available as a group or private 1-1 class (currently not available as an online session)
